Hippophae rhamnoides (sea buckthorn) is a shrub whose berries contain over 120 bioactive compounds with antioxidant properties for both the body and the skin.
We brought the sea buckthorn shrub from its wild habitat into our own cultivation, in order to obtain berries of the highest quality and with a pure, biologically active composition, beneficial for the skin.
Sea buckthorn berries contain a high amount of vitamin C—more than Rosa Canina (rosehip) and nearly 10 times more than citrus fruits. They also contain vitamin A, B vitamins, as well as vitamins E, P, K, and F, along with microelements such as phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, calcium, iron, and sodium. Sea buckthorn is also rich in β-carotene, pectins, sugars, essential amino acids, and essential fatty acids that support cellular regeneration and restructuring.
