About

Lucrát

Born from a family tradition and a personal connection with wood, shaped by the simplicity and functionality of Japandi and Nordic design. Everything is made in a messy-yet-soulful studio in Eastern Bucharest, Romania.

Lucrát is a quiet alternative to mass-produced home brands. Our studio is a small response to the growing fast fashion–like culture in home decor — where objects follow trends, not needs.

Each piece is made from start to finish in our workshop. When a design calls for it, we mix wood types but mostly we carve our pieces form solid blocks of wood. No glue, no laminations - it’s something we value deeply, even if it often goes unnoticed.

We respect wood for what it is: natural, finite, individual. What others might see as flaws, we repair gently and keep visible — a reminder that uniqueness isn’t something we add; it’s already there.

We build objects to last — not just physically, but emotionally. We like to see them change over time, to gather marks, and age into the spaces they’re part of.
