Minimal-Waste Patchwork Vest

Sale price$202.00

A sculptural layer with conscience. This limited-run vest is pieced from atelier offcuts—rescued silks, cottons, and technical blends—stitched into a soft, quilted mosaic in mineral neutrals. The result is a quietly striking, feather-light layer that elevates black tailoring as effortlessly as it softens a silk dress.

Why it’s special

  • Minimal waste construction: made entirely from leftover scrap materials; each panel’s composition is unique.

  • Architectural silhouette: stand collar, capped shoulder, and boxy body create an elegant, modern line.

  • Adjustable fit: side ties and open arm shaping allow easy layering over knits or shirting.

  • Artisanal texture: irregular channel quilting adds depth and movement without bulk.

Details

  • Composition: mixed deadstock/offcut textiles (silk/cotton/viscose/nylon blends)

  • Colorway: tonal patchwork (stone, sand, pearl) with dark contrast trim

  • Closure: side ties

  • Lining: fully lined; lightweight quilting

  • Fit: relaxed, intended to skim the body; size guide—take your usual size for a boxy fit or size up for extra layering room

  • Care: eco dry clean or spot clean; store flat to preserve quilting

  • Hand-Made in Romania

Styling notes
Layer over a crisp white shirt and tailored trousers for weekday polish, or over a slip dress for gallery nights. Neutral tones anchor the look while the hand-worked patchwork does the talking.

Sustainability
By transforming remnants into a refined essential, this piece honors material provenance and reduces landfill—aligned with Ce Fain!’s commitment to luxury with integrity.

About

ArcStudio

The Story of ArcStudio
ArcStudio is a slow‑fashion brand based in Cluj‑Napoca, which began to take shape in 2020. The story had earlier roots, nurtured by a love of spending time in nature and exploring creative ideas.

Observing seasonality, how materials are in perpetual transformation, and the joy of experimenting with natural beauty have permanently shaped how this project is conceived. Everything is driven by the principle of natural renewal.

The result of these creative and ecological impulses is a material library (banca de materiale). Collected over more than a decade, these materials gradually become beautiful clothing — all for women who wish to explore femininity, simplicity, and comfort.

The variety of materials motivates the search for a timeless design that supports the expression of full feminine personality. In turn, each selected piece of material is asked important questions:

How can transformation into functional beauty occur?

How can this fabric become a versatile garment?

How can it find a place in a quality, lasting wardrobe?

These questions are raised by the brand’s founder, Claudia Nemeș.
Born in 1982 in Romania, Claudia is a self‑taught Romanian designer. She decided to combine her passion for nature and love of beauty and to launch an invitation into the universe of ArcStudio.

The small atelier in Cluj‑Napoca houses the material library. It is also where the entire creative process happens, and each piece is made by hand. The atelier is also the site of sustainable practices: clothing swaps, upcycling projects, etc.
