We went in with measured expectations. Outdoor summer festivals are typically places for street food, folk art, and lively performances, not for limited-edition luxury goods crafted by contemporary designers.

But what we witnessed was beyond anything we imagined. From the moment the festival opened, visitors were drawn to our booth, intrigued by the clean lines, refined materials, and cultural narratives behind every piece. Several products sold out entirely, many others were pre-ordered, and conversations with visitors turned into meaningful exchanges about design, culture, and craftsmanship.

For a brand preparing its first U.S. launch, this was more than a successful sales weekend—it was proof that Romanian contemporary design has a place on the global luxury stage.

The Wharf, set against the vibrant Washington, D.C. waterfront, is a festival that celebrates the richness of Romanian culture—music, dance, culinary traditions, and artisan crafts. Ce Fain! added a modern layer to this cultural narrative, introducing audiences to the new wave of Romanian creators who combine heritage with innovation.

Our booth stood out in contrast to the traditional crafts surrounding it. The clean aesthetic, contemporary shapes, and sophisticated presentation immediately caught attention.
