2026 marks a defining cultural moment for Romania - the 150th anniversary of Constantin Brâncuși's birth and the 50th anniversary of Nadia Comăneci's perfect 10. 

Form & Flight is Ce Fain!'s response - not with nostalgia, but with contemporary creation. We are inviting Romanian designers to create original works in dialogue with the shared values of these two icons: discipline, balance, courage, and timelessness.

Call for Designers

Ce Fain! invites Romanian designers and makers to submit original work for Form & Flight, a series of curated capsule collections launching throughout 2026.

If you are a designer, maker, or artist working in jewelry, garments, objects, or art, and your practice is connected to Romanian identity through form, philosophy, material, or way of working, this is your invitation.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking jewelry, garments, objects, and art that explore one of the following creative paths:

FORM

Purity of line · proportion · mass · material honesty
Work that reduces to essence and allows structure to speak.

FLIGHT

Motion · rhythm · elevation · precision
Work that implies movement, grace, and tension held with control.

FORM × FLIGHT

The meeting point between stillness and motion.
Discipline as freedom. Balance as expression.

Submissions should be original, contemporary, and rooted in a clear design philosophy.
Explicit references to Brâncuși or Nadia Comăneci are not required.
Direct replicas, literal imagery, or logo-like use of names are not accepted.

What It Means to Be Selected

Designs selected through this call will become part of a Form & Flight capsule collection, curated and launched by Ce Fain! during one of the 2026 quarterly releases.

Selected designers receive:

  • Inclusion in a curated capsule collection

  • International visibility on the Ce Fain! platform (with strong U.S. reach)

  • Editorial features and campaign storytelling

  • Social media and newsletter promotion

  • Priority consideration for pop-ups, collaborations, and future exhibitions

Each capsule is intentionally limited - quality, coherence, and cultural rigor come first.

Who Should Apply

This call is open to designers and makers whose work is connected to Romanian identity through:

  • design language and philosophy

  • material choice and craftsmanship

  • cultural perspective and way of working

You may submit existing work that aligns with the concept, and designers are also welcome to create exclusive pieces for future capsules.
